Dr. Kevin A. Wunderle is a board certified clinical medical physicist for the Cleveland Clinic Health System which is based in Cleveland, Ohio. He has an academic faculty appointment as an Associate Professor of Radiology in the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University where he is active in teaching imaging and physics to medical trainees. He received his Master’s degree in Medical Physics from Cleveland State University and PhD in Medical Physics from the Wayne State University School of Medicine.

Dr. Wunderle is very active with the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) serving in leadership positions for several committees and task groups including as chair of the Radiographic and Fluoroscopic Sub-Committee and vice-chair of the Imaging Physics Committee. He also serves in various capacities for other organizations such as the Intenational Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC), and the American College of Radiology (ACR).

Dr. Wunderle’s clinical area of expertise and research interests are primarily focused on fluoroscopic imaging and related radiation protection. He has published a number of peer-reviewed articles, co-authored several book chapters, and presented numerous talks related to those topics.
